Patricia "Pat" Barnes

Patricia "Pat" Barnes, 85, of Bremerton, WA passed away peacefully on January 25, 2012. She was born on May 30, 1926 and was raised in Port Orchard, WA, graduating from South Kitsap High School in 1944. She later went on to attend Olympic College where she obtained her LPN certificate and worked at Harrison Hospital for a number of years. She retired from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1974.
Pat was a member of St. John Nuemann Catholic church in Yuma. She loved to travel and was an accomplished crafter, decorative painter, and quilter and also had a passion for embroidery and music. Pat enjoyed life as a snowbird in Yuma, AZ so much that she moved there full-time in 2000, just recently returning to Bremerton, WA to be close to her family. She loved her family and friends and will always be remembered in our hearts and our prayers.
Pat is survived by her three children; a daughter, Nancy Young (James) Tacoma, WA; two sons, Brent Wolf (Patricia) Alpine, CA and Phillip Wolf (Audrey) Poulsbo, WA; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two nieces and a nephew.

Eleanor "Ellie" Allen

Resident of Greenacres, Washington passed away June 16, 2011. She was born January 31, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Augusta Feldmeyer. She met her husband, Bob, in Spokane, WA and soon after they were married. All four of her children were such a joy to her and they all got along so well. Eleanor was a collection manager for Spokane Teacher's Credit Union from where she retired in 1990. She also belonged to the Women's International Organization. Eleanor loved to travel all over North America and met many friends on her travels. She loved motorcycles, photography and especially enjoyed being with her family.
Eleanor is survived by her husband, Robert, of 42 years; sons, Robert Jr. and Monte; daughters, Cherie Stedman and Judith Kidd and many grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriner's Hospital or to the charity of your choice.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 2pm at Spokane Valley Good Samaritan Community Center. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, is in care of the arrangements.
